Pacific Coast Soccer Camps are proud to provide an outstanding and
experienced staff to deliver the best soccer camp experience for every
player who participates in our program. We are enthusiastic, caring, and
well trained. These qualities enable us to focus on each player, working
to insure they are having the most fun possible while learning new skills
throughout their wonderful week with us. Every staff member we employ is
- at minimum - an experienced player, and a knowledgeable coach who is
able to teach young players.
Our staff is led by our director Bobby McLaughlin. Bobby has a complete
and thorough resume in soccer. He has over 20 years experience in all
levels of camp coaching, counseling, and administration. Some of his
career coaching accomplishments include:
- current assistant coach with the University of Puget Sound Men’s
team
- former 11 year assistant coach at Seattle Pacific University
(longest continuous assistant in program history)
- during time at SPU: team won NCAA Division II National Championship,
had 10 consecutive play-off appearances including five trips to the NCAA
Final Four
- United States Soccer Federation Nationally Licensed Coach
- Washington State ODP coaching experience
- successfully directed two high school programs to State Quarterfinal
appearances garnering numerous Coach-of-the-Year awards
Some of his career playing accomplishments include:
- four year starter in college
- four year selection to college all-conference teams
- as a collegiate freshman was the only freshman and non-Division I
player to be selected to all- conference team
- member of 1993 National Amateur Championship team
- professional soccer playing experience
- professional tryout with Halmstad of Swedish First Division
